Dutch still have faith in official approach to Covid-19

The Dutch official death toll from coronavirus rose by 52 to 5,562 in Wednesday’s update by the public health institute RIVM. The RIVM has also published research showing 80% to 85% of the Dutch have confidence in the information provided by the health agency and in the government’s approach to tackling the crisis. Ten weeks on from the start of the crisis, the research also shows four in 10 people are worried about their own health and six in 10 are concerned about the health of family members. In the DutchNews.nl survey 40% also said they were worried about the impact of coronavirus on their own health, but almost seven in 10 were concerned about friends and family overseas.
