Eight cheetahs were released into the Indian wildlife in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno-Palpur National Park on Saturday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who termed it a "historic day". The cheetahs arrived in India on a Boeing 747 customised specially to accommodate the five female and three male cheetahs who will together form the founder population of the elusive wild cat at Kuno National Park. Sharing a video of the inside view of the Boeing 747 used for transporting the wild cats, Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving the country a beautiful gift on his birthday. She took to Twitter and wrote, "Inside view of Boeing 747 used for bringing Cheetahs from Namibia to India.
