President to attend APEC, G20 Summit

In his speech at the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, Xi is expected to outline China's key measures to deepen reform and opening-up, and put forward the country's proposals for advancing Asia-Pacific cooperation, Mao Ning, the ministry spokeswoman, said at a regular news conference in Beijing on Friday. China is willing to work with all parties to comprehensively implement the APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040 in a balanced manner and achieve positive outcomes from the Lima meeting, injecting fresh impetus into regional economic integration as well as Asia-Pacific and global economic growth, Mao said. Noting that China advocates for an equal and orderly multipolar world and inclusive and universally beneficial economic globalization, Mao said that the nation is willing to work with all parties to promote positive outcomes in upholding multilateralism, building an open world economy and supporting sustainable development at the Rio de Janeiro summit.
