Hyderabad: A local court in Nampally here on Friday remanded popular film actor Allu Arjun to 14 days judicial remand in connection with the case related to stampede at Sandhya theatre on December 4. The court remanded Allu Arjun to judicial custody after the Hyderabad police arrested and produced him before the court at Nampally criminal complex here on Friday afternoon. A few minutes after the arrest of Allu Arjun by the Chikkadpally police in connection with the stampede at Sandhya theatre during the screening of Pushpa-2 movie on December 4, the police took him to the Gandhi hospital for medical checkup. Anticipating that a large number of Allu Arjun’s fans would throng the court, the Hyderabad police made massive security arrangements.
