BBC bosses have said it will show the characters catching up while having Christmas dinner at Uncle Bryn’s house in Barry Island, Wales. The preview shows Bryn, portrayed by Rob Brydon, dashing around the kitchen while Wizzard’s classic “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday” plays in the background. And the plates are still at Stacey’s.” He then drops a bowl of food on the floor, screams, then tells Stacey and Nessa as they rush in to help: “Stacey, would you kindly inform everyone that dinner will be ever so slightly delayed?” Jones and Corden recently revealed they feared their first draft of the Christmas special “wasn’t good enough”. a sense of maybe we were too naive to think we could pick it up.” Corden, Jones, Brydon, Larry Lamb, Melanie Walters and Alison Steadman all reprise their roles for the special episode.
