TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee To Move SC Against HC Order Allowing ED, CBI To Quiz Him In Kuntal Ghosh Letter Case
TMC National General Secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee will now move the Supreme Court against the order of the Calcutta High Court that allowed the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation to question him in the Kuntal Ghosh letter case. This comes as he arrived at the CBI office on Saturday after on Thursday, the Calcutta High Court had dismissed a petition filed by him seeking recall of a previous order of the court which said that investigative agencies such as CBI and ED could interrogate him in the teacher recruitment scam. #WATCH | TMC National General Secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee arrives at the CBI office in Kolkata, in the Kuntal Ghosh letter case. According to a PTI report, Ghosh alleged that he was being pressured by central investigating agencies to name Abhishek Banerjee in the school scam case.
