Gemini gets big update, can now summarise your Google Drive folders

With a new update, the latest Gemini feature will now let you quickly know what’s inside a folder in Google Drive. With this new option, you can open any folder in Google Drive and click a button at the top of the page that says, “Summarize this folder.” Once you do, Gemini will give you a brief overview of the folder’s contents. For example, you might ask, “What is this folder about?” or “What are the key themes in these documents?” Interacting with Gemini on Google Drive is also pretty straightforward. According to 9to5Google, the AI assistant can even identify images within a folder, even though Google hasn’t officially mentioned this ability.
