Chakra Theertham is nestled amidst the lush green woods of Seshachala mountain ranges, a few miles to the south of the renowned Lord Venkateswara Temple. At the heart of Chakra Theertham lies a unique sanctum on the rocky hill, featuring an engraved image of Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, apart from shrines of Sri Narasimha Swamy and Anjaneya Swamy.On the day of Chakra Theertha Mukkoti, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams will organise special rituals, including Pujas and Abhishekam, to honor Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar and other deities at this sacred site.According to the ancient lore, a sage meditated at this location for 12 years, seeking divine grace. This divine act is said to have blessed the place with immense spiritual power.Varaha Puranam, one of the ancient Hindu texts, extols Chakra Theertham as one of the seven most prominent Muktiprada Theerthams.Pilgrims believe that a dip in these holy waters purifies the soul and leads to liberation.
