Kanniyakumari Collector convenes meeting with members of Kani tribe in Pechiparai

Kanniyakumari district collector R. Alagumeena inspected ongoing development programmes in Pechiparai and convened a meeting with the members of Kani tribal community from the region. Ms. Alagumeena emphasised that the government was ready to grant land rights to the eligible beneficiaries and was committed to construct more houses for the people in the upcoming financial year. In addition, the Collector inspected the ongoing infrastructure development projects including construction of roads in the region. Padhmanabapuram Sub Collector Vinay Kumar Meena, officials from Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare department were present.
