Raiders mailbag: The positivity runneth over, and what to make of all the CBs
New York TimesA buddy of mine said we’re writing so much positive stuff that we’re going to affect the over-under line in sports books of the Raiders winning 7.5 games next season. And the Raiders are having a very good offseason, from adding two legitimate linebackers in Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski to bringing back Gabe Jackson to complete what should be a dominant offensive line to Clelin Ferrell’s 18-week boot camp and the 30-player workouts. Robert K. asks, If the Raiders weren’t really sold on Gabe Jackson, Tyrell Williams, and Joyner, why didn’t they renegotiate their contacts? There was no wiggle room with Joyner, and the Raiders took on another year of Jackson’s and Williams’ deals because they ultimately liked the players at those values — $9.6 and $11.1 million respectively.
