Andhra Pradesh: CBC Conducts Hindi Fortnight at Women’s College
Deccan ChronicleVijayawada: Learning Hindi, a language that has more acceptance across the country in several states, would increase educational and employment opportunities for the students, said Central Bureau of Communication Guntur field publicity officer R. Ramesh Chandra. Ramesh Chandra said that Telugu and Hindi have many similarities and with the advent of technologies and online learning tools, it is easy to learn the language. College Hindi lecturer Dr K. Vijaya Kumari explained the historical reasons for accepting Hindi as an official language, and the efforts of the government and educational institutions in propagating the language usage. The Hindi Fortnight, conducted by the CBC Guntur field office, featured several Hindi competitions such as essay writing, elocution and singing competitions.
