Another consultant plastic surgeon, Mark Henley, said it had been his “pleasure and privilege” to work with Mr Perks for 26 years. Detective Inspector Gayle Hart, of Nottinghamshire Police, said the surgeon “in a serious but stable condition” in intensive care.
