Delhi BJP to prepare 71,600 health volunteers to fight possible third wave of Covid

The Delhi unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has set a target of training around 71,600 health volunteers in the national capital, to fight a possible third wave of Covid-19. The BJP has also released a tele-helpline number 87005-39531 and WhatsApp number 9927499274, under the health volunteer campaign, to spread awareness and help people get information on Covid-19. While talking to India Today TV, BJP’s national general secretary, Tarun Chugh, said, “Being the largest party in the world, our aim is to create around 4 lakh health volunteers across the country. They will be trained for six hours and then stationed at different booths.” Read | Delhi BJP urges Arvind Kejriwal to reopen weekly markets, compensate traders State President of BJP, Adesh Gupta, said, “BJP is preparing a team of 71,600 health volunteers in Delhi, who will be made ready for public service after six hours of training.” Last month, BJP national president, JP Nadda, launched the Swasthya Swayamsevak campaign across the country, to train four lakh health volunteers.
