Johnson, often referred to as 'The Rock', a name coined in the WWE, hasn't wrestled since beating Erik Rowan in a match that lasted just seconds in 2016. Reigns taking on WWE legend The Rock seemed to be the ultimate destination, and though it hasn't yet happened, Johnson told the Pat McAfee show that is very almost did. Reigns instead faced off against Cody Rhodes, surprisingly beating the former AEW star Reigns has been centre of a 'Bloodline' storyline that has run over a few years with fellow real-life family members The Usos and Solo Sikoa He went onto team with Sikoa to take on Jimmy and Jey Uso at Money in the Bank in London in June as the latter two turned on their cousin, before facing off against Jey on his own with his title on the line before Jimmy turned on Jey during the match.
