The brother of Paul Pogba has been found guilty of attempting to extort the former France and Manchester United midfielder. Mathias Pogba, 34, was one of six men standing trial in Paris after Paul Pogba claimed he was the subject of a €13million blackmail plot. Mathias Pogba’s five fellow defendants — who were identified only by their first names — were found guilty on extortion and criminal association charges and given prison sentences ranging from three to eight years. Mathias Pogba arrives at the Paris Criminal Court for his trial, in Paris on November 26 The case first became public after Mathias Pogba posted videos to social media promising to reveal “great revelations” about his 91-capped France international sibling.
