Police seize 14 kg of ganja at Vaniyambadi bus terminus

The Vaniyambadi police seized a consignment of 14 kgs of ganja at the bus terminus in Vaniyambadi town in Tirupattur on Sunday. Police said that as part of security measures, a team of police personnel was conducting surprise checks in buses at the terminus. During the search in the bus bays, police found three abandoned tourist bags near the washroom in the terminus. They would have taken an autorickshaw to the bus terminus in Vaniyambadi to board a mofussil bus to evade police.
