Is Trump 2.0 making Russia-Ukraine peace talks difficult?
FirstpostEven though US President-elect Donald Trump has said he would end the war in Ukraine at the earliest, the approach he and his advisers have outlined may end up making peace talks difficult Even as US President-elect Donald Trump has promised to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours, there are indications he may end up becoming an obstacle. For these reasons, Ukraine is unlikely to be excited about Trump’s approach as it essentially means affirming Russia’s victory instead of arriving at a middle ground or a settlement that’s favourable to Ukraine.
