IIT Delhi receives Rs 1 crore from alumnus for research and student initiatives

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has received a Rs 1 crore contribution to its endowment fund from Amarjit Bakshi, an alumnus from the 1967 batch and the founder of the Bakshi Group of Enterprises. In a statement, the Group shared that the donation aims to strengthen IIT Delhi's research, expand educational opportunities, and prepare future leaders. My vision is for the institute to provide transformative solutions for society and equip future generations with exceptional learning opportunities.” Professor Rangan Banerjee, Director of IIT Delhi, expressed gratitude for Bakshi’s ongoing support.
