Scorching Summer Tames Parliament Election Campaign

Nizambad: Lok Sabha candidates and senior leaders are facing difficulty in taking the poll campaign forward due to the scorching summer. Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, a BJP leader said the scorching summer and the restrictions from the Election Commission adversely affected their election campaign. Reportedly, BJP leaders urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address a meeting either in Armoor or Kamareddy to have its impact spread on al the Parliament constituencies of north Telangana districts. However, the BJP national leadership is not keen on holding meetings in north Telangana districts as there are good signs for party in the Parliament elections elsewhere.
