CM wants designs for dry port should keep in view requirements for next 100 years

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to prepare designs for the proposed dry port keeping in view the emerging needs over the next 100 years. He directed them to prepare proposals relating to the national highway connecting Hyderabad with Chhattisgarh capital Raipur and submit them to the National Highways Authority of India. The Chief Minister inquired with the officials about the problems faced in acquisition of land required for the construction of the national highways. Officials informed Mr. Revanth Reddy about the presence of crops in several places in the lands proposed to be acquired for highways, but the NHAI was not prepared to pay the compensation.
