YSRC to raise law and order, Polavaram in Parliament

VIJAYAWADA: The YSRC will raise the burning issues of atrocities on social media activists and Polavaram, besides opposing the Wakf Board Bill, in the ensuing Winter Session in Parliament. MP Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose told the media after the meeting that they would raise the issue of harassment and illegal detention of social media activists in the state. “Police are not following the rule of the law and are detaining political opponents and social media activists at will and are harassing them violating human rights,” he said. The YSRC will oppose the proposed Wakf Board Bill tooth and nail and will also explore legal options.
