China's foreign trade up 6.2% in first 7 months

The country's exports rose 6.7 percent year-on-year to 14.26 trillion yuan during the period, while imports climbed 5.4 percent to 10.57 trillion yuan, according to the administration. China's trade with ASEAN economies climbed 10.5 percent year-on-year to 3.92 trillion yuan, accounting for 15.8 percent of the country's total trade value, the administration said. In the January-July period, China's trade with the European Union crawled up 0.4 percent from a year earlier, while the country's trade with the United States climbed 4.1 percent year-on-year, the data showed.
