Al JazeeraAdmission comes as impeachment trial against Donald Trump for ‘incitement’ of the Capitol insurrection gets under way. The interim chief of the United States Capitol Police force has apologised for “failings” during this month’s deadly attack on the building by supporters of former President Donald Trump.
