Chhattisgarh government directs universities to conduct pending examinations in online or blended mode
India TodayConsidering the suggestions given by institutions and students, the government of Chhattisgarh has decided to conduct all the pending university examinations for the academic year 2021-22 in online or blended mode, as told by officials on Monday. He further informed that the state Higher Education department of Chhattisgarh issued guidelines which directed universities to conduct the current academic session’s pending exams in online or blended mode according to the instructions given by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. EARLIER UGC GUIDELINES The official went on to inform that UGC had provided the higher education institutions with authority to determine whether to conduct offline/online classes and hold exams in online, offline or blended mode on the basis of the Covid-19 situation in their areas via letter on February 11. “Keeping this in mind, instructions were given to conduct the remaining examinations online or in blended mode,” he said further.
