British Transport Police North Yorkshire said: “Sending our best wishes to the injured officer”. “We wish them a speedy recovery.” Robert Jenrick, the local MP and Home Office minister, said: “My thoughts and prayers are with the Police officer critically injured in the line of duty at Newark station.
