Congress wants Telangana govt to re-notify police recruitment
Deccan ChronicleAdilabad: The Congress demanded on Sunday that the state government re-issue the notification for police recruitment as the present one “did not give any relaxation” in terms of cut-off marks in the preliminary exams to SC, ST and BCs candidates. The party alleged that the TRS government conspired against the marginalized sections by keeping the 30 per cent marks as common cut-off to qualify for the preliminary written exam to all the communities. Speaking to the media, AICC member Naresh Jadhav said the Telangana state police recruitment board failed to protect the interests of the SC, ST and BC communities in the police recruitment-2022. He alleged a conspiracy to eliminate the SC, ST and BC community candidates at the preliminary level itself without following the separate cut-off marks provision that is generally followed even in the UPPSC exams.
