Madhya Pradesh college lecturer alleges of being forced by authorities to join RSS
The HinduThe Madhya Pradesh High Court has disposed off a petition filed by a government college professor alleging pressure and threats by institute’s authorities to join the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh after the State Government assured of an action into the matter. The writ petition was filed by Ramjas Choudhary, a guest faculty at Government Arts and Commerce College, Majhauli in Sidhi district, who alleged that “he is being prescribed by the College Authorities to join activities of Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh”. During the hearing on January 22 before a single bench of Justice Vivek Agarwal, Mr. Choudhary submitted that his life was also in danger and that no action has been taken by the local police. He has already made complaints to the Superintendent of Police, Sidhi, and also the concerned Town Inspector, but no action is taken on these complaints,” the court noted in the order.
