Cricket Australia confirmed the development on Monday, making it the first five-Test affair between the two heavyweights since India’s tour Down Under in 1991-92, in which the Allan Border-led Australian team ended up winning the series by a 4-0 margin. “The extended series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be a headline of the 2024-25 home summer schedule set to be released in the coming days,” CA posted on X, formerly Twitter.
