At one point while discussing his squad for the Scotland’s Nations League double header against Albania and Israel Alex McLeish spoke about the ‘dearth’ of options and accidentally invoked the name of Darth Vader. As matters stand, Steven Fletcher is the nearest equivalent to a Jedi knight available to the manager, who has alarmingly sparse firepower at his disposal.
