Deccan Chronicle

Vishakapatnam: The BJP’s state political feedback Pramukh, Lanka Dinakar, has alleged that the ruling YSRC leaders had discussed much of the deals and commissions with the investors before the start of the Global Investors Summit 2023. Much efforts were also made by the ruling party leaders to make their close associates invest in AP, during the summit talks, he said. Addressing the media here, Dinakar said the main intention of the summit was to grab hydro and solar projects in north coastal Andhra for the ruling party’s favourites. He said GOs were issued by the state government prior to the Visakhapatnam summit, vis-a-vis the MoUs entered into by the Shirdi Sai Engineering Ltd, Indosol and Arabindo for the hydro power projects.
