MLA Mahesh Tenginkai inaugurated the 20th Annual Joint Conference of the Indian Postal Employees Union of Karnataka Zone and the fifth Annual Joint Conference of the Dharwad Division of the Indian Postal Employees Union in Hubballi on Sunday. He said that the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking several steps for the welfare of government employees. “Earlier, Leftist unions used to spread lies that the Modi government will privatise all public sector undertakings and employees will be fired at will. In fact, efforts have been made to provide better working conditions for employees,” the MLA said.
