Trump insiders forced to do 'clean up' after his latest 'rambling incoherent' speech
Raw StoryOn Friday morning members of a CNN panel piled on Donald Trump over his speech earlier in the week where he praised terrorist group Hezbollah as "very smart" and trashed Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu while his country was reeling from an attack from Hamas. According to CNN's John Avlon, the former president did serious damage to his re-election prospects with the panel noting that his allies are busy doing damage control in the wake of his "incoherent" comments on the growing war in the Middle East. "He cannot help but make it all about himself," he began before adding, "This is another -- these rambling incoherent, unhinged statements from the former president, attacking one of our closest allies at a time of maximum pain, blaming the victim in effect while praising a terrorist organization who is targeting civilians in Israel." "Another way to put that is the argument for Trump is falling apart right in front of him and we're seeing him lash out for that reason," CNN contributor Errol Lewis contributed.
