iPhone XR sold the most in Q3 2019 beating affordable Samsung Galaxy A series: It isn't surprising
India TodayAt the end of every quarter in a year, Counterpoint Research comes out with the sales data of popular smartphone models around the world. In Q3 2019, Counterpoint's data suggests that Apple's iPhone XR sold the most across the globe, capturing a total of three per cent market share. However, the iPhone 11 only managed to capture 1.6 per cent of the total global market, which is impressive given that it's only been a few months since the newest iPhone went on sale. The second spot in the list goes to the Samsung Galaxy A10 with a total market share of 2.6 per cent whereas the third spot is taken by the Samsung Galaxy A50 with a share of 1.9 per cent. The iPhone 11 came in at a lower price than the iPhone XR when it launched in September 2019 and that helped the newest iPhone gain a significant market share just after its launch.
