Sony Points Finger at Anonymous, Sort of

As the PlayStation Network outage stretches on, Sony has been facing a backlash from EU governments, as well as the US congress. Last week, the US House of Representatives’ Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade sent a letter to Sony asking them exactly what went wrong regarding the whole outage of the PlayStation and Qriocity networks. Sony points finger at hacker group Anonymous In a letter addressing the issue, Sony’s Kaz Hirai has responded saying that they are not fully sure what has been taken but that personal information from at least 77 million users have been stolen. Sony said that investigators inspecting the matter have found a file on one of their servers named ‘Anonymous’ with the words ‘We Are Legion’ in it.
