Collectors explain eligibility criteria, procedures to select beneficiaries for Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Athmeeya Bharosa
The HinduA fortnight before the launch of four schemes by Telangana government on January 26, collectors of a few districts held meetings on the verification of applications, dates for the field level work, selection of beneficiaries and other aspects of Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Athmeeya Bharosa, Indiramma Houses and Food Security Cards on Sunday. Mahabubnagar district collector Viziendira Boyi said that ₹12,000 per acre would be provided to farmers under Rythu Bharosa in two installments through Direct Benefit Transfer. Indiramma Athmeeya Bharosa Landless farm labour will be provided with ₹12,000 per annum under Indiramma Athmeeya Bharosa. Food Security Cards Ms. Viziendira said that Mandal Parishad Development Officer at Mandal level and municipal commissioners at Town level would be responsible for field verification of the list of families without ration cards, collated through door-to-door survey.
