Cyberabad cops notify no-fly zone ahead of President Murmu's visit

Hyderabad: Ahead of President Murmu Droupadi visit to the Air Force Station in Dundigal to review the Combined Graduation Parade, Cyberabad police have issued orders prohibiting the flying of remotely controlled drones. The orders are in effect and will be in place till June 17, covering a five-km radius around the Air Force Station as well as the surrounding areas within the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad commissionerate. Further, because of inputs of possible attacks by terrorists, antisocial elements using para-gliders, drones, remote-controlled micro-light aircraft and others, which may endanger peace, Cyberabad police issued orders regarding the no-fly zone. The orders gain significance due to an increasing trend of event organisers and others using remote-controlled drones to record aerial footage for live telecast and photography.
