Andhra Pradesh: Lab Technician Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault on Patient

Visakhapatnam: A lab technician at Care Hospital in Visakhapatnam has been accused of sexually assaulting a patient who sought treatment following an accident. According to a colleague of the victim, who wished to remain anonymous, the woman was admitted to the hospital around 6:30 pm. The colleague also stated that the victim was urged not to disclose the incident, and the hospital management reportedly threatened them and instructed them to speak with the police. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed serious concern regarding the harassment of a woman by staff at a scanning center in Visakhapatnam.
