Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka interacts with students of RGUKT at Basar, announces ₹1 crore for development works on the campus
The HinduMinister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women and Child Welfare Seethakka has said the State government is steadfast in its commitment to strengthen the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies at Basar in Nirmal district. The government will take all measures to improve amenities, ensure quality education and foster academic excellence in RGUKT established in the temple town of Basar, the abode of Goddess Gnana Saraswati, by the then government in 2008, she said, announcing ₹1 crore for various development works on the RGUKT campus. She was speaking at an interactive session with the students of RGUKT, the premier institute offering a six-year integrated course leading to a B.Tech Degree, in Basar on Friday. The minister asked the officials to ensure better amenities and quality food for students as per the prescribed menu on the RGUKT campus.
