Rapid integration of AI in health care highlighted at global dialogue in Jaipur

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence in the health care and the strategies for evolving AI-driven solutions to enhance preparedness for new diseases and epidemics were highlighted at a global dialogue on health management here over the week-end. Experts attending the two-day dialogue said consistent efforts should be made for ensuring “resilience and innovations” in health management amid emerging threats like HMPV viruses and the evolving challenges such as COVID-19. Maj. Gen. Atul Kotwal, Executive Director, National Health Systems Resource Centre, functioning under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, said though technology played a vital role in health care, the correct approach would be to go beyond digital solutions. Sodani said since the post-COVID era had accelerated technology-driven health care solutions, the digital transformation would help evolve strategies for meeting new challenges.
