Telangana Day events at Public Gardens
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: The state government has decided to hereafter celebrate the Independence Day, Republic Day and the State Formation Day at Public Gardens Lawns opposite Jubilee Hall instead of Golconda. During the review meeting organised by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan with respect to the impending State Formation Day celebration, the Chief Minister directed the officers concerned to examine the possibilities of organising the celebrations without causing any inconvenience to the people. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, city police commissioner Anjani Kumar proposed the idea of conducting the celebrations in Public Garden Lawns opposite Jubilee Hall. After taking into consideration all the aforesaid inputs, Mr Rao directed the officials to start making arrangements to celebrate the impending State Formation Day at Public Gardens Lawns from 9.30 am to 10.30 am on June 2.
