My next target is ISSF World Cup: Vijay Kumar
"There can be no bigger motivation for me than representing India at the 2016 Rio Olympics, but for the time being, I am focusing on the upcoming ISSF World Cup," said London Olympics silver medallist Subedar Major Vijay Kumar. Speaking to HT after the felicitation function at the Daly College Kumar said, "I have my World Cup final after two months and I am focused on that. On how Russian coach Pavel Smirov polished his shooting skills at the AMU, Kumar said, "It's always great to work with Pavel and being associated with him helped me immensely especially at the Olympics level." Commenting on the most challenging countries in the forthcoming ISSF World Cup, Kumar said that shooters from Germany, China and Russia will pose challenge as they have excellent facilities.
