ABCChelsea Bligh spent the first seven years of her life chasing four older siblings around the family's rural Queensland cattle property. Key points: Chelsea Bligh lost two loved ones while completing her degree Ms Bligh wants young people to know "pushing through bad days" is worth it She wants to see more Indigenous staff in hospitals across the country The Wulli Wulli woman hoped to grow up and marry a farmer like her idols on hit Australian drama McLeod's Daughters. "I never thought I'd be a nurse," Ms Bligh said. Ms Bligh says she owed Sunday Pam "special thanks" for his help on her journey to becoming a registered nurse. More Indigenous health workers Ms Bligh said her eyes were opened to the way "Indigenous people are overlooked".
