Arsenal Women face being forced to move Bayern Munich match despite already selling tickets

The Telegraph

Arsenal Women have appealed to Uefa for flexibility surrounding their Champions League match against Bayern Munich with the men’s team scheduled to play at the Emirates on the same day. Arsenal Women’s fixture was confirmed when they reached the Champions League group stages, and the club have already sold out some areas of the ground. Arsenal have committed to making the Emirates the main home of the women’s side for the 2024-25 season, with eight Women’s Super League matches and the three group games of the Champions League due to be held there. As per Uefa’s Champions League regulations, travelling sides conduct their press conferences and train at the stadium should they want to the day before the match, so Arsenal men would not be able to play on Tuesday even if other games were moved.
