Ravens-Bengals continue heated rivalry: ‘They don’t like us, and we don’t like them’

Roquan Smith wasted no time introducing himself to the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals rivalry. The Bengals ended the Ravens’ season in 2022, beating them in the postseason on Sam Hubbard’s go-ahead 98-yard touchdown return of Tyler Huntley’s fumble as he tried to score on a quarterback sneak. Take away a 24-yard run by Austin Ekeler and the Bengals shut down the Commanders’ ground game, which is one of the closest comps to the Ravens because of the challenges quarterback Jayden Daniels presents. Ravens defensive coordinator Zach Orr said this week that every game is different, but it’s hard to imagine that he won’t borrow from those Macdonald game plans. If the Ravens are going to come out on top, veteran cornerback Marlon Humphrey believes the team’s secondary needs to win the matchup against the Bengals’ talented group of pass catchers.
