In view of track maintenance engineering works at Pugalur, Kodumudi and Pasur railway yards, situated between Karur and Erode railway stations, changes have been made in train services as detailed below. A release from Salem Railway Division said Train No.56809 Tiruchi – Erode Passenger Train, scheduled to leave Tiruchi Junction at 7.20 a.m., will be terminated at Karur railway station on February 3 and 6. Likewise, Train No.16846 Sengottai – Erode Express, scheduled to leave from Sengottai at 5.10 a.m., will be short terminated at Karur railway station on the same day. Train No.16845 Erode – Sengottai Express, scheduled to leave from Erode at 2 p.m., will instead leave from Karur at 3.05 p.m. on February 3 and 6.
