LNP says it was unaware it preferenced a convicted rapist and former porn star in Brisbane electorate of Lytton

The LNP says it was unaware an independent it recommended preferencing in the Brisbane seat of Lytton was a rapist and former porn star and has now put him last on how-to-vote cards. Moore's political platform includes military school for "trouble youths", 10 per cent affordable housing in all new high rises, and training work camps for the unemployed. An LNP spokesperson blamed compulsory preferential voting for putting Moore second on their how-to-vote cards. But a spokesperson for the Electoral Queensland Commission said a candidate doesn't have to number every box on a how-to-vote card, adding "it is not uncommon for a card to have printed on it, 'Vote 1 for Candidate X, then number every box', without specifying an order".
