Constructed at a cost of Rs 2,400 crore, this structure is expected to improve road access between Kashmir and Ladakh, providing a boost to tourism as well as the Indian military Security personnel near the Z-Morh tunnel on Saturday, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on January 13. PM Modi will inaugurate the much-anticipated Z-Morh Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, which will not only provide all-weather connectivity to the famous tourist resort of Sonamarg but will also help connect Kashmir and Ladakh throughout the year.
