Bihar MLA quarantined for violating Covid-19 norms

India Today

Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA from Bihar's Barachati, Samta Devi has been sent into quarantine for 14 days by the Ranchi district administration for violating the state government's Covid-19 advisory. The RJD MLA with her two bodyguards was seen in Ranchi RIMS around 1 Kelly bungalow where RJD chief Lalu Yadav lives. After a lot of hue and cry over brazenly flouting the jail manual and RJD workers continuing to throng the RIMS campus now the administration seems to be a bit serious about the issue. The administration came to know that the Barachati MLA put up in state guest house and entered the state without seeking the government's permission.
