Amit Shah, Mamata Banerjee discuss procuring land for BSF in Bengal

The border security was the main agenda at the meeting between Home Minister Amit Shah and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today. The leader of the opposition in Bengal assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, said that Amit Shah discussed the issue of getting land for 72 BSF outposts. Amit Shah has also urged Mamata Banerjee to provide full cooperation to the BSF since the Indo-Bangladesh border is extremely critical for the national security, Adhikari said. Adhikari and Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar has been called for a meeting in Delhi by Amit Shah on December 20 to discuss several issues pertaining to Bengal.
