FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Last week, when everyone was still bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, New York Jets offensive players walked into a team meeting and saw a photo of a roller coaster. “That’s what this game is about, who can handle the adversity, who can handle the success,” Hackett said. “We have so much love and I’ve really enjoyed working with him.” Against the Bills, Hackett pulled Wilson aside on the sideline, and used his roller-coaster analogy again to uplift him: “Don’t ever get too high, don’t ever get too low. “The confidence in his reads, knowing what to do, taking what the defense gives you … that’s something that he’s improved at, just taking what the defense gives us.” Center Connor McGovern said Wilson “has that swagger” back, one year after it diminished. “He’s somebody that can totally wreck a game,” Hackett said.
